Based on the number of publishing companies represented, The Frankfurt Book Fair is said to be the world's largest trade fair for books. Representatives from all over the world, involved with book publishing and multimedia companies, converge at Frankfurt to review and debate publishing trends, to network and do business, besides negotiating international publishing rights and licensing fees.

Impelsys first launched iPublishCentral at The Frankfurt Book Fair in 2008. In the two years since its launch more than 450 publishers from over 40 countries have signed up on iPublishCentral, using its infrastructure to successfully drive their e-strategies online.

This year we will be setting up a dedicated demo station with a live demonstration of iPublishCentral. We will also be announcing the latest developments and updates to our product, the most exciting being the launch of the iPad module on iPublishCentral.

Impelsys representatives will be present to answer any queries or discuss any opportunity, and we look forward to seeing you there.

AAUP annual meeting focuses on assisting member presses in the day-to-day work of scholarly publishing.

We exhibited a live demo of iPublishCentral at the AAUP Annual Meeting. Our demo was aimed at helping publishers and University presses understand how they can capitalize on emerging technologies to generate new revenue streams from their existing content. For a fraction of the cost and time, publishers can now leverage iPublishCentral to reach new users worldwide via their own branded websites.

AEP's annual Summit is the premier professional development and networking event for the entire educational publishing industry. In 2010 the conference focus was 'Content in Context, education beyond the book'.

We exhibited a live demo of iPublishCentral to show how it can help publishers get started with their e-strategies instantly without having to make much investment in terms of time, money and efforts. All-in-all it was a wonderful experience, and opportunity to meet with educational publishers from different parts of the world.

Book Expo America is the largest annual book trade fair in the United States. Almost all significant book publishers in the United States, and many from abroad, have booths and exhibits at BEA, and use the fair as an opportunity to showcase upcoming titles, sell current books, socialize with colleagues from other publishing houses, and sell and buy subsidiary rights and international rights.

We exhibited at BEA at stand no.2223 where a live demo on iPublishCentral was set-up to show publishers how they can experiment with their content and business models online with minimal risk. We met many leading publishers and helped them understand how they can leverage technology to monetize their content and build direct relationships with readers without making significant investments. We got tremdous reponse from the publishing fraternity and the show was a big success for us.

The London Book Fair is the global marketplace for rights negotiation and the sale and distribution of content across print, audio, TV, film and digital channels. It is a unique opportunity to hear from authors, enjoy the vibrant atmosphere and explore innovations shaping the publishing world of the future.

At the fair, we exhibited a live demo of iPublishCentral, as well as met several publishers from in and around the United Kingdom. Our demo showcased the ease with which publishers can monetize their backlist, open new geographical markets and generate additional revenues without making significant investments. Many of us were unable to attend the conference due to the volcanic weather conditions that made travel toward Europe unsafe but our Executive VP sales, Gary Rodrigues, who's based out of London, managed the show extremely well. He presented on 'The new dynamics of publishing', at the Digital Theatre in Digital Zone and helped many publishers at the fair, figure out how to select an e-strategy that's right for their business.

Each year more than 1000 exhibitors that include publishers, literary agents, packagers, printers, international organizations, TV and Film producers, licensor and licensees, and service companies linked to the publishing world, from 67 countries participate in Bologna Children\'s Book Fair.

Our CTO, Nizar Jamal attended the Bologna Book Fair where he personally met with publishers to discuss their specific concerns around e-publishing. Publishers experienced first hand how effortlessly they can add new revenue streams by offering their content in the most innovative, engaging and user friendly formats that would appeal to both children and their parents.

Vilnius Book Fair is the biggest annual book fair in the Baltic states, held in Vilnius, capital of Lithuania. The Vilnius Book Fair is mainly devoted to the reader, this gives a chance to the Lithuanian and foreign authors to meet their audience live. The distinctive feature of the Vilnius Book Fair is the abundance of cultural events, especially meetings with the well-known Lithuanian and foreign writers.

We participated at Vilnius Book Fair 2010 with Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU). We gave live demonstrations on iPublishCentral and helped many publishers learn how they can warehouse, distribute, market and deliver their content online quickly and cost-effectively with iPublishCentral.

Impelsys launched iPublishCentral on 15 October 2008 at Frankfurt Book Fair, and within one year empowered more than 350 publishers from over 40 countries to drive their e-strategies online. This year a dedicated demo station was set-up at Hall: 8, stand: L985 for a live demonstration of iPublishCentral. We also celebrated iPublishCentral’s one-year of success and innovation on 15 October 2009 with Wine and Cheese. Impelsys representatives enthralled the visitors by demonstrating how publishers can leverage innovative features and functionalities of iPublishCentral and make their business future-ready. Nizar Jamal, our COO & CTO also provided deep insight into the latest trends in the publishing industry in his presentation titled “Publish it & they will read, is the print paradigm!” at Forum Innovation. The event was a great success, with more than 250 live meetings with publishers during the show days, and hundreds of footfalls to our stand; and an impressive coverage in the media.
