Frankfurt Book Fair 2008

Frankfurt Book Fair is the world's largest trade fair for books, based
on the number of publishing companies represented. Representatives from
book publishing and multimedia companies from all over the world come to
the Frankfurt Book Fair in order to negotiate international publishing
rights and licensing fees. Visitors take the opportunity to obtain
information about the publishing market, to network, and to do business.
Impelsys launched iPublishCentral on 15 October 2008 at Frankfurt Book
Fair, at Hall No. 4.2, Stand No. P415. A dedicated demo station was set
up at the stand for a live demonstration of iPublishCentral. Nizar
Jamal, CTO with Impelsys, elated the audience at the Science forum, with
his presentation on "Experiments with eBook Business Models".
The launch was a grand success, with more than 200 live meetings with
publishers during the show days, and hundreds of footfalls to our stand.
iPublishCentral was also covered extensively by the media.

Online Information 2008 comprised of an exhibition of over 230 vendors,
a world-class conference and seminar programme covering Content
Management; Web 2.0 Technologies and Search Solutions. Attracting over
900 delegates from over 40 countries, the conference provided a forum
dedicated to learning, debate, professional development, technology
reviews and assessments, expert discussion as well as case-study
presentations and the sharing of research results and opinion.
iPublishCentral was present along with Publishing Technology, our
strategic partner for the UK region, at stand no. 620. A dedicated demo
station was set up at the stand for a live demonstration of
iPublishCentral. Representatives from Impelsys and Publishing Technology
provided detailed information and insights about iPublishCentral and how
it helps publishers Market, Distribute, and Deliver Content online,
through a very easy self-serve model.
PSP conference

This is an annual conference organized by Professional Scholarly
Publishing (PSP) Division of the Association of American Publishers, on
a range of subjects pertaining to professional and scholarly publishing.
We participated as exhibitors at PSP conference at booth #3 where a live
demo on iPublishCentral was set-up to show how publishers can drive
their marketing, delivery and distribution strategies online in minimal
time and with minimal investment. We had quite interesting interactions
with some of the leading publishers and they were quite impressed with
what iPublishCentral can do for their business. The overall event was a
big success and we got a great response from attendees.
TOC CONFERENCE -2009

O'Reilly's Tools of Change for Publishing division seeks to connect the
people, companies, and organizations asking and answering the questions
that will define the future of publishing. TOC 2009 will focus on
industry-wide strategic issues, like the changing retail and
supply-chain landscape.
iPublishCentral was The Gold Sponsor for the event and exhibited at
stand no. 8. A live demonstration of iPublishCentral was available to
show the visitors on how they can promote their brand and titles across
the web with minimal risk and maximum gain. A dedicated kiosk was also
set up during the conference for a hands-on experience, and to enable
spot registrations. iPublishCentral aroused tremendous interest among
the attendees with hundreds of footfalls to our booth and over 100 live
meetings during the show days. Apart from this, we had two speaking
opportunities at the conference. Nizar Jamal, our CTO, gave a "Lightning
Demo" on "How to Create a Widget in 5 Minutes". Sameer Shariff, our CEO,
thrilled the audience with his presentation on "Sparking an E-Book
Revolution through a Self-Serve Model" The highlight of the show was our
very interesting and successful meeting with Tim O'Reilly at our booth.

We attended the ASCD annual conference where we got an opportunity to
discuss with many publishers on iPublishCentral and how it can help them
drive their marketing, distribution and delivery strategies.

We attended the Book Business expo and met many publishers who were
looking for a low cost solution to take their content online. We
discussed about their challenges and helped them understand that how
they can market, distribute and deliver their content online in a cost
effective manner through iPublishCentral.
